Michele Hattingh is the administrator and chief financial officer for Hattingh Prosthetic Care Facility. She is responsible for all Provider Contracting, Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing, and OSHA and Medicare compliance.
“As the administrator and wife of the chief prosthetist, I am proud to be part of helping amputees reach their highest level of ability. At our Prosthetic Care Facility, it’s not about the quantity of patients, but about the quality of care John gives each one. He chooses to see only one local patient each day. If the patient is from out of state, he chooses to work with that patient exclusively for the week. Amputees are given the time they need and they are not automatically given the highest-priced component. Our goal is to keep our clinic small and personalized without outrageous overheads.”
Michele also served as administer at John Hattingh’s previously-owned practice in Seattle, the Northwest Prosthetic & Orthotic Clinic for 20 years
Michele is just as passionate about animals - helping disabled dogs as well and has been a pit bull rescuer since 2010. “I am driven when it comes to helping the disabled, whether it is the human or animal kind. My objective is to assist in making dog fighting illegal and make spaying and neutering the law.”
My second love is that of horses. It is a dream to have a therapeutic riding area for our patients.
